Custom-Built Country Home, Huntley, IL
This family lived in a 2 story farm house in Huntley, Illinois that was built in 1850. The house burnt down because of an overloaded circuit starting in one of the bedroom walls. The house was 150 years old and the wiring had not been updated. Scholl Construction built a new home after an insurance claim.
The 2400 square feet, 2 story, single family home has an open interior. The first floor incorporates a large master suite, a great room with a natural field stone fireplace, kitchen, laundry room, powder room and custom staircase. The owner and his sons collected the field stones from their property for the fireplace.
I would most certainly recommend you to anyone considering building a custom built home. You did a nice, clean, quality job on our house and we are very pleased. Feel free to list me as a reference.
